1. About Clepath

Clepath ("we", "us", "our") is a practice management platform for immigration consultants. We provide tools to help consultants track client case milestones, send automated progress notifications, and manage their immigration practice.

Clepath is operated by Clepath ("the Company"), registered in Nigeria.

2. Who Can Use Clepath

Clepath is intended for use by professional immigration consultants, lawyers, and agencies ("Agents"). By signing up, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are using Clepath for legitimate professional immigration consulting purposes
• The information you provide during registration is accurate and complete
• You will keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others

3. Your Account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at clepathapp@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

4. Subscription and Billing

Clepath offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance
• Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your payment card information
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again
• We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused periods
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

5. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using the platform. Client data is retained for 30 days after trial expiry before being permanently deleted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Clepath to:

• Provide false or misleading information to clients
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable immigration laws or regulations
• Harass, threaten, or harm clients or other users
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform
• Resell or sublicense access to Clepath without written permission
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

7. Client Data and Privacy

As an Agent, you collect and input personal data about your clients into Clepath. You are the data controller for your clients' data. Clepath acts as a data processor on your behalf.

You are responsible for:

• Obtaining proper consent from your clients to share their information with Clepath
• Ensuring your use of client data complies with applicable data protection laws (including NDPR and GDPR where applicable)
• Informing your clients that their progress updates are sent via Clepath's notification system

9. Intellectual Property

Clepath and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of all data you input into Clepath, including client information and case notes.

10. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime beyond our control. We will notify users of planned maintenance where possible.

We are not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or data arising from service interruptions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clepath shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete my account. Upon deletion, all your data and client data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We may terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, with or without notice.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of Clepath after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nigeria.
